So, have you ever wondered if your graphics card is that great? or just another standard card that is junk! Post your Brand of graphics card and the Specs to get some info on it! I will get back to you on this thread :D (If your a person that needs to know how to find out what your card is called, right click on "My Computer" and click Hardware then click device manager. Then from there click on the Display Adapter to find out your kind of card! copy and paste that on your post and i will tell you the games it can play/cant play well!

This card is a standard card, that comes with most $300-$600 computers. I recommend you upgrade to a Nvidia 8800 GS, they can be bought for less then $100, and it can run most games on ALL high settings.

NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT 512MB and sharing another 1 gig

Crazy, 512MB of video memory is very good, you don't want to share 1GB of your main RAM to help it, this slows down gaming considerably, and is not necessary, because 512MB is really all you need.

triple post much?....you see that 2 spread sheet down on ppls post? click that were u see a plus on it and u can post on the 3 different post while have the the 1 post.

Sorry, never knew that, thanks :)

This sounds like a good card, the GTX cards are quite respected, but you you know the number on that? (Eg. 8800?)

That is what the card is. A Nvidia GTX 260. There are no other numbers in reference to the name.

[I[/I] I take it that's a Radeon HD card? That card is not the best, but because you have two of them, together they can be better then the 4870 512MB.

The 3870x2 isn't two different cards, it's a single card with two seperate GPUs in it. A lot of the cards in this thread aren't the best, but the 3870x2 is a damn good card. It's only one generation back.
