is this overheating?

i actually just got my processor in today :D

i cant wait to try it out, but first i need a mobo :(

Here is my advice, look at you budget. If you are trying to keep it cheap, go with AMD. Their processors and mobos are alot cheaper, for almost the same quality (not going to lie, you will have better quality with an intel)

If you arent concerned about a budget, or have one that can allow a few more dollars, i would say go intel. because of the above statement ^^

since the whole gaming rig can be assembled on newegg for an astonishing <900$ i am gonna go for intel. and obviously a compatible mobo. must have though, is a coller of some sort. i plan on a cpu fan (aftermarket) and a heat-sick compound. so hey - DELL charged me 2000$ for a worse pc and that wasnt even with a separate monitor! guess what - im not going back!
