for some reason or other it refuses to start, i'm getting onto steam about it but when its fixed i'll be back on!

Try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. If it doesn't work try removing and installing ur steam client again.

in your steam or steamapps folder i believe, its called clientregistry.blob

(make sure steam is closed(

I had that issue to and when I deleted and reinstalled TF2 it fixed the problem for me.

Blob files are the Steam equivelent of registry files, all your game info are stored in said blob file, which is encrypted.

I had that problem also a long time ago and i think i deleted the clientregistry. Good luck
