my mouse got disappeard!

my computer's mouse cursor is gone! i dont know why! when i boot the system the mouse cursor never shows up! i have tried using a ps/2 and 2 usb mice. even in safe mode, my mouse is missing. can someone tell me whats up, otherwise, im backing up my data, and reloading windows :eek: PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF GAMING! HELP ME!
 
you dont need both to navigate to websites XD i did it a couple of times me self, annoying thou o.O

damn, i saw this on another forum awhile back, ill try to dig it up, but you have to sign up tho, forget it, ill just copy and paste for you :p but first i must try to dig it up, onward to help fellow eGO!!!!!!

YAY, i hope you find it! (and yes, you are correct, it is annoying... lol)
 
Try this to see if you can even get your cursor to display:

Make sure you're logged on (should be easy to do), then press LEFT ALT + LEFT SHIFT + PRINT SCREEN to turn on high contrast mode. If your cursor displays THEN, all you have to do is go to the Mouse control panel, turn it high contrast mode off (same key combination), and change the cursors there manually. Shouldn't be too hard at that point.

Everything you can do with a mouse you can do with a keyboard.


Try scanning for new hardware devices in Device Manager. Also, look for a yellow flag next to any pointing device.
