Wow... This movie looks flippin sweet. Now my 2nd must see movie of 2009, right behind Watchmen.

Ive been waiting for watchmen for a while now but i had no idea Tim Burton was creating a new film.. this looks epic. It may even top the charts for Nightmare Before Christmas.

I love Tim Burton's work aswell, and this just looks amazing.

I think Burton's just exec producing, and the look and feel of the thing is being driven more by the original creator Shane Acker who did the original short film.

eta: Was anyone else deeply disappointed to find that the music in the trailer comes from a song with only about 30 worthwhile seconds, and all of them are already in the trailer?

Looks like if Fallout and Little Big Planet got together and made a movie and Danny Elfman was there to make a kickass score from the whole thing. I'll be seeing this one for sure.

I just saw Coraline in 3D last night and saw the preview for this. Looks sweet. "Welcome Home" seemed like the perfect song for it.

Well, he is kind of new. This is Shane Acker second crack at 9. The first time around was a 11 min short film...which had the same visual style got an oscar nod. Now he is back with a flow of cash coming straight from Tim Burton.
