Can power shortcut be dangerous to your pc?

Where i live right now, its a lot of snow. And you know what happends when theres so much snow! It covers the power lines so they get all messed up!
Soo.... the power lines get heavier with the snow so they start touching each Oother and sparks starts flying! (One summer it nearly started a forest fire!)

This keeps shortcutting ALL of our electrisity, like when i am using the computer, the power shortcuts and my pc of course think it is a system error everytime i restart it. This has been happening like 10-15 times past this week!
I have been trying to get some of the snow off the lines, but it snows like f!, so its to no use!

Is this dangerous to the pc? Can it possibly harm any of the pcs components?

Yes it can you should get a surge protector with a battery backup so that when a surge happens your computer can stay on till the power comes back on thats what i do

Hopefully you have a halfway decent surge suppressor. If not get one ASAP! This will help protect your PC to an extent but it's still not good for it to shut down all of a sudden due to the power being cut .
