Hey guys! I am in need of some help (again), i was thinking for about half an hour whether i should post this in Off topic or here. Then i decided its to do with tf2 and you guys would be more likely to help me

So what my problem is, is something must have happened because for about 6 months now my intel has been messed up. Instead of the usual colours, it has been appearing as black. I dont want to go through the whole process of installing tf2 again *yawn*.

I have found a skin which i liked and which is similar to the original. But my problem is i dont know where to put it. I have looked at many tutorials on fpsbanana, but it only explains it for guns, i dont know what to call the folders. I tried it once, but me being me i failed

If anybody knows where to put the skin files, or how to fix the problem without reinstalling, i would appreciate it

Download the folder and put it in your team fortress 2/tf folder. It'll overwrite whatever screwed up your intel files in the first place.

If that doesn't work delete your materials and models folder. Steam will automatically replace them.

Huh wright? Im pretty sure your meant to put it in your steamapps/tf/tf2/materials/weapons folder or whatever the order is, shall i just put it in the tf2 folder and not in the materials one?

And if i do delete the folders, are you sure steam will restore them? I dont want to try it and it end up being even more messed up.

There's an edit button and yes, steam will replace it. I deleted my materials folder so many times by now.

K ill have to try it, i know theres an edit button somethins wrong with my pc, ill have to do it when its fixed.

i have a skin for intel i put in

teamfortress2/tf/materials/models/flag

if the folder models and or flag is missing create it

dont do mistakes in the word like doing flags i did that and took a while to figure i had writen the wrong word

there should be 4 files, 2 for each flag

First off, I didn't tell you to delete your stuff in the first place, Phoenix did.
And it's also your own fault that you did not save your sprays.
