I downloaded it the second it was available and I love it.

I am a Vista hater, but this in my opinion will be the next XP. XP is the only OS which has lasted more than 3 years without a new release which lasted a total of 7 years. Microsoft generally releases an OS every 3 years, so for XP to last 7 years shows alot.

I love it, and is now my main OS. The only issues I have ran into so far is driver support for my X-FI Fat1tly, but I can live with onboard sound until drivers are released.

Thanks for the download. Keep us up to date on any bugs or anything. I want to try it out, but only have one computer and no back ups, so I'm a little iffy.

Its an amazing OS.

But, IF YOU PLAY COD4, CODWAW, CRYSIS ONLINE, AMERICAS ARMY, or ANY PUNKBUSTER GAME DONT DOWNLOAD.

Punkbuster kicks you for unknown windows API function, and punkbuster announced they don't support beta operating systems. Guess im going back to vista.

It runs faster but I noticed some UI problems but other then that its ALOT better then vista.

When its fully Supported people at Vista will putt aside that OS and install Win7.

Btw its a marketing scam that should be illegal but is not, eg.

Windows 98 SE (memory problems... what did I just say?)
Windows ME (just sucks!)
Windows 2000 Pro (WOW love it)
Windows XP (O M G they blow it up!! DAMN them to hell!!)
Windows Vista (I'm not Mexican but its ok but a hog!) -[because vista sounds like spanish dunno]

Best way to make money, make bad OS wait alittle make good OS they all bail out to the good OS. Wooo Patterens!

yeah, right now i currently have a dual boot with XP and Windows 7. So when im bored, i shut down my xp, hop on Windows 7 and mess around there

Well I got rid of my copy because punkbuster doesn't work on it..so now im back to vista F T L but windows 7 is awesome if your not going to game on it...seriously...dont game on a beta os

I have downloaded and installed both 32 bit and 64 bit versions.
32 bit is somewhat useless - too many limitations, but not completely out-of-date.
I prefer the 64 bit version because of the increased RAM capability (I have 6 Gig). It looks alot like Vista. Taskbar and explorer is definately different.

Just a note if you are using an Nvidia graphics card, download the lastest version from Nvidias' site - I have an 8800GTS so I got the 181.20 driver. It actually has a Windows 7 driver imbedded in it.

Bottom line: It looks like Vista; and so far it seems to be stable. It is a beta version though ( and it is by Microsoft too ) , so we can't expect it to be flawless....overall impressions - pretty good.
