Logitech G9 / Microsoft Sidewinder, Help :\

Just wanted to hear from anyone with a G9 / Sidewinder mouse, whats it like, and how would you rate it on a scale from 0-10?

Sadly my G7 conked out, and now my mom is ready to buy me any mouse available at bestbuy (have a ton of gift cards)... and ofc the G7 is out of warranty.. blah blah.. (insert uber sadface here) :(


Need quick opinions on the G9 or the Sidewinder, those are the two i am debating on... and i do NOT want to hear any mention of the G5, so please don't :S

I have better luck with Logitech mice, they just seem more responsive. Since you don't want a G5 for some reason, get the G9 ;)
 
I dont like the sidewinder. It loses responsiveness for me. Take the G9
 
Logitech > Microsoft mice.

My experience with Microsoft peripherals has not been good. However, you get what you pay for with Logitech, which is definitely a good thing.
 
My friend has a G9 and it runs great. Do you want a fast mouse or a precise one? Choose the G9's resolution between 200-3200 DPI. I think that it's a lot better than the Microsoft one. Buy the G9.

my friend, get the razer lechesis, its much better than anything logitech or microsoft or anyone makes. ive got two, and a razer diamondback they all work flawlessly. excellent performance and if shes lettin you get ANYTHING i would go for that. It should cost around 70 bucks but with gift cards no problem. Lechesis will go up to 4000 dpi as well, better than anything anyone else makes.

g9 i assume we got it on display at work, but why dont you like the G5 thats like the best one ever :D
 
I dont like the G5 because of the grip, and since my hands arent always clean, dirt and sweat mix, and getting that stuff into the nooks and crannys of the grip on the mouse is in my view, kinda icky...

and Blue, i HAD a lachesis, and now my brother uses it, i did not like the design as far as gaming went for it, i prefer my hand arched and fingers pointing more downwards than flat, everyone has their style, but the lachesis did not fit mine.

I had a Microsoft Laser Mouse 6000, it was epicly awesome.

But go Logitech.

And I know you said not to.
But.
