I wanna buy a new graphic card but...

Hi! I'm asking you guys, i want to upgrade my computer with a new graphic card, maybe a 8800 Ultra or better, but i wonder if my computer have enough slot and power to make a powerful graphic card working. Here is my gaming rig

Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GT

Just tell what i need to do to get a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 Ultra or better working.

ok well 1st off remove the last 2 pictures as the 1st one is only needed. 2nd off check out the following image:

if you look where i placed the arrows @, those are phillips head screws that need to be removed if you're gonna get in ur case & get help with your stuff. next, once u do remove the screws & get the metal casing off, look at the power supply. it should say something like 400w (the # of watts in the power supply). now i was just giving a simple example. it can be anything from 400, 430, 450, 460 (my previous power supply watt), just look on the side of the power supply & look for 3 numbers followed by the "w" letter. once you get that info, we can help you from there. the good news bout ur system is since it is rather still new, you do have a pci-e x16 slot on your motherboard, which means that you can upgrade your video card to anything that you wish. i would suggest anything from the 9600gt & higher. now since your french, i dont know if newegg can ship to you, so i would suggest checking out different websites (i did a search on google & found a french forum, so you might wanna do a google search for either a forum for some kinda computer hardware website).

first of all to open the case looking at the picture from the back, unscrew the two screws on the back left and you should be able to simply slide the side panel off.

I would not get the 8800 Ultra i would get the 9800GT or the 9600GT depending on how much you want to spend.

I really need to know what motherboard you have to better suggest a card for you. Could you supply that please? Also how many watts is your power supply?

there is no need to take out the top two, there will be solid aluminum there anyways. Just take off the two on the side.

sorry, i can't do anything because my parents don't want to upgrade the graphic card. anyway, my parents bought this computer at Future Shop a year ago for 1,300$, yes, 1,300$! There are computers that are 3x more powerful than my computer and they cost over 1,000 $!

(I live in Quebec, i am not from France, i am Canadian and i speak french!)
