Posibility of any additional eGO tf2 servers ?

As of 8:05 PM central time all 8 of the eGO tf2 servers are 32/32

Just wondering if there are any plans to to bring any more servers over to tf2,
esp a 2nd blackmesa server would be nice.

It could be a nice idea, but you must keep in mind that more servers = more money to spend , but yeah 2 blackmesa or any fun maps rotation would be cool!

It would be neat to see like a server running custom maps made by members. I used to design maps when it was feasible to run game servers at home, but since the hardware and bandwidth requirements have risen it is hard to get a map played anywhere.

Keep the servers full but most importatnly admins do AFK checks all the time you can! I hate waiting for 10 minutes only to join and see we have 6 specs or 3 afks. =(

Assuming we have the coin to host another server, what map(s) would it have? I think civil war would break out in the TF2 division over which map to run

Maybe we could use Amazon EC2 to run an extra server only during peak hours. EC2 is billed by the hour (as low as $0.10 per hour), so we'd save money by turning it off during the off-peak hours.

Thats true, although I have come home at 4pm from school to find Dustbowl empty and 2fort IR with 13 people. Luckily they fill easily.

True , when your in the server for a half hour it will probally be full already.

I definitely don't think we need another server. I've never seen all of the servers at 32/32, and I'm really happy that that actually happened. But we have an awesome selection of servers/maps right now, and there is just too much down time during the day where maybe 3 of the servers are at 32, and others are in the teens.

besides they may be full now but once people go back to school its gonna die down again. it was tough keeping all 8 with a reasonable number of players during the fall
