I like to listen to The Pillows early 2000's albums whilst playing TF2. The delightfully insane songs seem to fit TF2's dark but colourful humour. That song about the soldier who loses his brain yet crawls along the landscape wishing for death was so UPBEAT it can't help but make me want to shoot random virtual people. The same goes for the song about people in the future all croaking due to Ritalin. I love upbeat morbidity, I don't know why, I just do. I could also use the example of Maxwell's Silver Hammer, a delightful Beatles song about a homicidal school aged kid with the titular silver hammer, or Elton John's somewhat satirical I think I'm going to kill myself. Too bad Emos have to take that exact topic and make it depressing. Silly emo's, singing about killing yourself is supposed to be fun! (No, this does not reflect my real life opinion )
