windows 7 no tf2 ?

Ok i updated from windows vista to windows 7 beta

I love it. or should i say Loved it

I was really cool until i decided to play monday madness yesturday.

It seems that if i try to connect to a tf2 server, I will lose connection right after i join.

I (for once) tried the right click-repair this connection approach but it only works for like 6-10 minutes.

the wierd thing is, it's not just me, my whole network loses connectivity.

The only way i can get it to work is if i change the seetting in my lan and then change them back again...

im running: windows 7
and an nforce 570SLI

i knew i was taking thta risk when i updated.... i was just hoping that someone here had the same problem, several people said they have been gaming with it.

I believe you are just unlucky, it seems like a hardware compatability problem, i run tf2 and all my games fine on windows 7 for two days now.

Give us ALL your specs maybe I can guess at what the problem is. Or at least narrow it down.

This is exactly why I tell people to install windows 7 on a seperate partition or HDD, its called a beta for a reason and if youre disappointed wait until its final release.

no, you should have made a clean install, just on a separate partition.

I haven't had any issues with it, but perhaps it is some issue with VAC? I know punkbuster has issues with W7

I have not had any problems with any of the games that ego offers servers for. I haven't played cod with it but everything else works fine on windows 7 for me. Try updating all the drivers.
