Jus thought that I would post a semi quick thread about my experience this morning.
I couldn't sleep last night and found myself searching for a CS server to play on. There were about 5-6 servers at 4am this morning that we active. So I found myself going into these servers and forgot why I joined ego in the first place. I found the following things very annoying in the servers that I ventured onto:
Server List would say there are 20 people but when I joing there are 3 bots!!
Would join a server and there would be AWPS. I hate them. Everyone only uses them and I think that they ruin the game.
I would join a server that had some people in it. Only to be greeted with constant cursing or mic spamming.
So, to fix the problem of not wanting to play at a server that was overcome "Punks" I turned to my friends list. I message everyone that was active and Mogar came to the rescue. Him and I joined the Dust2 server. The amazing thing was within about 10 minutes we had a dozen people. There is the proof in the pudding!! Lots of people have our servers on their favorites. I would assme these people saw that our servers we active and again. Knowing that we are too cool for bots. Jumped right in!!
Anywayz, I have not played on any other server other than our EGO servers for about 6 months. I forgot how good we have it. No mic spamming, no disappointing bots and best of all.....A MATURE enviornment where players can come and get back to the root of why we starting playing these games in the first place. For pure enjoyment and friendly ownage!!(I don't do much of that)
With all of that said. Thank you each and every ego member for helping to keep the greatest gaming community going strong. And with new mature gamers joining each minute of the day and more and more people getting promoted to admin. I dont' see how anyone could ever bring us down.
