I think the resolution you are thinking of is 1680x1050 and its a pretty common 16:10 resolution these days. However, that particular monitor is actually higher resolution at 1920x1080, which is standard HD, however not quite standard for PC monitors.

nope, want thinking of 1680 x 1050. thats for a 22 inch widescreen. I use that resolution. I was talking about the 21.5 inch, not the 22 inch widescreen.

Well I stand corrected if so. I have just personally never heard of a monitor running at 1620x1020. I run a 20" at 1680x1050, and pretty much all models I have seen between 20" and 22" run at 1680x1050. Even so, 1620x1020, is practically the same aspect ratio so there really shouldnt be much distortion on wallpapers.

I have a dell 22" that is at 1680x 1050 and it is beautiful. I am not sure who does the parts for Dell monitors but they are awesome.

I have SAMSUNG T220 22" 2ms LCD. GREAT color, great contrast. I have no complaints about it....
