my car froze :(

Been trying to start it all day and all i get out of it is the dinging from the door being open, all the lights come on and the ac/heat works. But the darn thing wont turn over, been told maybe the starter is frozen. If anyone has ideas suggestions or tips to get it started again it would be great. I have to be at work tomorrow at 830 am and want to make sure its running tonight before i go to bed.

Fuel never freezes , it just turns into a gum like material

-33 C today, it was really cold, and add about 10 because of the wind!

for a frozen starter, take a broomstick and pop the hood, knock the end of the broomstick on teh starter to break loose any ice or frozen components, (should be straight down towards the front of your car.. then give it a go

Thanks ill give that a shot, was going to use a hair dryer and a long extension cord to thaw it out lol

It may also be your battery just being dead.

My car battery died last winter. It was a real cold day, i went to start the car, the dash and lights and everything came on, but it wouldnt turn over and start. I tried to jump it and it didnt work, so finally i had to call AAA to come out and install a new battery for me.

It was actually the battery, got a jump and let it run for about 30 mins to charge. Hopefully it starts in the morning...
