Hey, some of you may have noticed i havent been around the last couple of days. the reason is that my computer has pretty much shut down on me. i have had a virus and its been impossible to remove. its gotten to the point that my computer dosent work right. so i need to reformat. i'm hopeing to get it completely fixed within a week. but i dont know when it will be up. Have fun playing. i'll get back on as soon as i can.

I know what you mean! I had one of those just a couple of weeks ago. Good luck with getting it removed!

I got a bunch of viruses earlier this week. First time ever, and I wasn't even doing anything that I think would give me viruses, which is why I usually am fine. I happened to have a Ubuntu CD ready so I booted off of that, downloaded Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php and saved that to the C: drive, booted Windows in Safe Mode, and then installed and ran mbam and rebooted into safe mode again. I ran it like three times before everything was cleaned up. I also installed Avast! for antivirus instead of AVG-Free. AVG-Free was worthless obviously. Everyone I know with Windows has gotten hit recently. Now I should be good, however I've been running Ubuntu linux on a brand new 500GB Hard Drive. I left a 32 GB partition space available for Windows so that I can run Insurgency but I haven't gotten around to installing it yet. If it weren't for Insurgency I'd probably quit using Windows forever.

You know you could have just done safe mode w/ networking right?
