Right, so I downloaded some of the vids/pics from the TF2 events from that rapidshare or whatever that website was. So, when I try to open it it pops up a weird error and said that "Setup file 'gameinfo.txt' doesn't exist in subdirectory 'hl2'. Check your -game parameter or VCINFIG setting." I don't even know where that is. Basically, it says "you suck at computers and you have failed. have a nice day". So, what's gameinfo.txt?

yes, their DEM files. I've tried googling that error, and I still can't make sense of what it means.

Put the .dem file into C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\yourusername\teamfortress2\tf2

Then go in-game and type into the console: playdemo nameofdemo.dem and press enter
