Shin Megami Tensei Imagine is an online MMORPG that takes place in the future after a teleportation accident that led strange creatures (dubbed Demons by the people) into our world. hen a few years later this caused Nuclear war and sent the world into an Apocalypse.

First off, the types of weapons potions ect.

There are many types of melee weapons each yeilding different bonuses to different skills, like how much more effective your magic skills are. Some having damage bonus.

Ranged weapons includes Guns, yes that's right, GUNS, and as the same as melee they all yield different bonuses for different skills (pistols are better for magic users) (by the way there is a desert eagle :) its called the desert rombus)

Last on our weapons list, is well magic. There are a few of magic types from destructive (damaging) Curative (healing, anti-viral) Support (temporary bonuses) and Cursing (anti-bonuses upon enemies)

Healing items and potions and other things
there are a wide variety of usable items in the game from bullets (to FEED your gun) to healing items and mana-recovery items, usually have a "different" name like Chakra gum (yes as in the stuff you chew) Chakra candy, ointment (picture of band aid :)) to bottles of ointment

Statistics

These can be Kind of confusing in the game, as there are two kinds of skills you can increase/decrease.

One type is the Main skills or attributes which you can upgrade per level up

The other is the training type, but CHOSE what skills you want to trade, because you have a LIMIT on how much you train every few levels, but don't worry about accidental training, you can toggle what you want to train on and off.

Some of these skill include Destruction mage, Curative mage, slash, fury, dodge, counter, ect and some being things that upgrade your main attributes

(ie. The occultist skill raises Intelligence)

and next, DEMONS

Yes, these beasts you heard in the intro can be captured to use as your own personal helper, you can mount some, and use them as your fight assistaints against other demons. But to capture these, it is very hard, and annoying. there is a greet button that you can "attack" or "target" your enemy (or ally i guess) and HOPE LIKE MAD that they accept your invitation to be your companion. But, if you level your "talk" skill up enough then you can bribe them into joining (you never get your money back success or unsuccessful)

and following the story, this game is actually STORY LINE based, witch means you wont be able to do a number of things on your own (yes that means OTHERS can do things for you). there are a number of ACTS (big story-quests) in whih some of the world is explained, there is also a number of mini-quests that are like regular MMO's saying get x amount of yadda.

Thats about all that I feel like writing now.

oh and the game is in betta so there are a few buggs in the server connection, ect. this doesn't happen TOO often though

It's an Aeria game, so probably not.

Edit: Actually, watching the videos, I want to try it.

what are you talking about? aeria games is pretty good (even though the only games of theirs i've played is this 1 and project torque)

So is it worth sitting through a 1 gig download?

very worth it

also not too many things are AP only (real life money)

they all feel the same. Shaiya, Last Chaos and Twelve Sky, I mean. DOMO sent me about 2000 beta invites. None of the games I played had anything to keep me playing at all. I literally played Shaiya for two hours. It took a little bit longer than that to even start to play it.

Edit: Merged your posts.

(12sky = ugly :()

and if you look at other sites (ijji, outspark, ect) you'll see that they do the SAME THING, and really, they dont make many things aeria only that are INCREDIBLY good, just two pistols (that I know of) in the game
