ipod program besides itunes?

not true.
floola is a good program that will allow you to trade music on to and off your ipod. Winamp also will do it for you too.
and there are many others out there.

ITunes is a virus... it takes over your media applications... I hate Itunes and have never bought an Ipod because of it...

i guess it's just how proprietary iTunes / iPods are that sours me on the whole thing. Apple is supposed to be this great alternative to the tyrannical Microsoft and give power to the people and free expression and all that hippie stuff, but iTunes is worse than most others when it comes to oppressing users rights. /end rant

Wrong. There is no virus scanner that makes you immune to things. Let's stay on topic now..

iTunes is a little slow but I use it over winamp only because i synced all my songs once and it worked but it didnt work the 2nd time so i went back to itunes
