Best Buy return policy?

I bought a xbox 360 game the day after christmas and just yesterday my xbox stopped reading it. its got a little scratch on the inner circle of the disc and thats what im guessing is causing it. i dunno what caused it.. maybe playing it so much, but i know its not a scratch caused by me moving the console while the disc was in it

question is i got it with gift cards and i was wondering if i could take it back to best buy and exchange it for a new one (same game)

call them. It might be on their computer somewhere. With giftcards and creditcard then are normally backed up somewhere... do you still have the card? If so they might be able to scan the giftcard to find any purchases on it. Just a few suggestions.

nope. the giftcard ran out of cash when they ran it through and they kept it..

i'll call them now, i wanted to do that yesterday but forgot >.<

i believe electronic games are not refundable but still try calling them

i would call and yell then... say you went on vacation and came back to play and it broke after a day

Pretty sure that once you open a game from it's packaging at any store it's not refundable.

I bought FIFA 09 and realized like an hour later that I would rather have a football game. Took it in and pleaded with the same cashier at Gamestop if I could just trade the games. He said he could only give me 25 bucks for the opened FIFA 09. I ended up not trading it in and kept it. Not a bad game at all, it's pretty fun, but I'd rather have Madden 09

well they let us exchange it for a new copy

some generous fellows.. i play the game religiously and i wouldnt have bought it again so im happy
