I never thought of it but I guess you could kill someone with a smoke nade couldn't you? When a regular nade hits me in the face it takes a couple points of damage with it, I'm guessing smoke nades do it too?

You forget a smoke nade may not explode but as someone who has had one go off inside their shelter half while in a sleeping bag when the flames shoot up your body it does not feel good. Actually it was a CS gas grenade, but you still get the flames! When everyone asked who screamed like a B at breakfast later on, I raised my hand and said "That was me I thought I was on fire!"
