I hate to do this becasue I already posted this in another COD5 Thread, but no one seemed to give me an answear to any of my questions and im looking to decied to buy it or not soon.

so whats the verdict on this game, I liked COD4 intill I got tired of the annoying nade spam, not a big fan of nades

but if you take away the nazi zombies, campagin , and just focus on the multiplayer aspect of this game (yes I know the zombies can be played co-op as well as the single player, if I recall correctly) but I mean the traditional multiplayer. Is it like CoD4 tons of nades? not so much, spaming of any kind, and what about that no recoil comment? Is that accurate is it to easy to shoot guns becasue of lack of recoil? what about walling to the degree that was in CoD4, Im not expert with weapons but I'd assume it would be a little less right? Did the PC version not get prestiege mode again? ( I know I could easily look that one up but since its on my mind.) Whats popular game play, deathmatch modes, or objective based modes?

I suppose thats all the questions I can think of asking about the game.

And please do me a favor and dont answear telling me the game is bad, please list some reasons, I'd like to get some opions of a gameing community before I make the purchace.

I have the same questions as you do and I want answers also...lol
I do not own and was thinking on getting it but Ill keep waiting and see the result of your poll.

Unfortunately, I don't have the answers to your questions. But I can say that I didn't care for the game too much. I played the open Beta a couple months ago on PC and was generally dissatisfied with every aspect of the game.

The UI and game selection was cumbersome. It felt like I should have a console controller in my hands rather than a keyboard and mouse. The gameplay felt mechanical, choppy, and disconnected - rather than fluid and intuitive. I maxed the graphic settings and it was alright, but not good enough to make up for other shortcomings.

I suppose this is what you get when you play a FPS on PC when it's intended for consoles. I really don't see how someone can start on PC-based FPS games, and then transition over to console styles. It feels like such a downgrade for me. Then again, I'm not 14 years old - so I don't adjust and adapt to game styles the way I used to.

Ultimately, you'd have to decide for yourself.

Well i bought the game but i still haven't got it to work. Not sure why...
so i say no :P

The campaign is not as good as COD4:MW and to make that worse...its set in WWII. The multilplayer feels like COD4 with a WWII skin thrown over it.

It's not a bad game...but with Modern Warfare 2 possibly coming out this year. I would save your money.

I have this game for the 360... I Haven't really played the multiplayer because I got back into CSS.... The Multiplayer is pretty much like COD 4 with the whole level up gain weapons and having the perks. They also added the ability to use Tanks in the Multiplayer its fun to use but goes really slow and the way people move you dont really get there in time to kill people with it unless they come to you xD. Hope this helps...

I give it a solid meh.
Too similar to CoD 4 to be bought separately.

Yes the game is awesome, I'd recommend getting it.

I would not get it. It looks the same, feels the same, and even acts the same at CoD4 to me

I think you should get it too. I myself enjoy WW2 games, which not many people here seems to do.

I also like WW2 games, I should have metioned not to just comment that its just WW2 and leave.

Saddly I was hopeing for more of my questions to be answeared before I decided to buy this.

If your fan of Call of Duty, buy it.
On the back of the box, it's written "A must-own for the fans of the series. - GamerPro"

Difficult to say really if you're excluding the zombies & the story. I'd say yes if you like playing the story co-op. You get to play any level with up to 4 players from all around the world. If you don't care about that aspect then I'd say just stick to Cod4. The tanks are fun but otherwise, not much difference... well the dogs are also fun. Release the Hounds!

buy it.

i only bought it because it was on sale for $35 but it was definitely worth $60

nade spam... no. but the spawn points and the voice acting is absolutely horrid. you'll die, and (sometimes) literally spawn 5 feet away from where you died and the same guy (or dog, most the time) kills you again

granite this is for xbox 360, and i love playing search and destroy (big points), TDM or headquarters

Call of Duty is like CoD 1-4 combines. It's basically the same engine as CoD4 with new models, guns, ect. Same basic multilayer. Only real difference is you get to play in the Asian Campaign as an American, Pvt. Miller, which wasn't in the previous WWII games for CoD. However you have to play in Europe as a Russian in Russia and invade into Germany. So basically, like I said before, it's like the previous CoD's combined.

i recomend you buy it. theres not just the story but also an awesome zombie thingy after youve won the story and the multiplayer is great

I played the beta and just hated the feel of the multiplayer. I hate ww2 games and guns for the most part, and as mentioned previously just felt like cod4 with different skins.

I would say if you like ww2 youll probably be satisfied with it and buy it but if your not into that setting, dont waste your money. Youd be better off saving it and waiting for another cool game to come out this year.
