Today I got home and I saw a box waiting for me :) And yes there it was my Core i7 920, 6GB Corsair XMS3 DDR3, Thermalright Ultra Extreme 120 and some Artic Silver 5 Thermal paste !

If your going to drop the money for that, you should spend another Benjamen (or two) and get a nice full tower.

lol thermaltake duorb ftw. Nice components. I would have gone with the foxconn bloodrage instead of the p6t but both are fine boards.

lol wally will have his done in about 1 - 1.5 months i believe he told me. Unless he gets lucky then it will be quicker.

for those of you who dont know, we know each other in real life, so i hear about everything :D
 
thought about getting that heatsink for my i7, but its too damn expensive... how much did you pay for yours and where?

Thats exactly what I was thinking. Also the V10 is out. :D

Extremely big.

Since my E8400 wasn't putting out much because now I'm extremely multitasking I got a Q6600. I'm regretting it because I should of got a i7 940

Get a 920 and overclock it to 3GHz ;) you save 250? :)
 
dude you can OC it to 4GHz STABLE on air i seen it been done :D then if you Water cool it you can get to 5GHz mabey lol

wow nice JV. Ive overclocked mine to 2.93 and had to up the vcores.

now, in your BIOS are you using the auto overclocking or are you doing it all manually?

because if its all on auto and you just selected 3.2 on the fast menu, it is automatically increasing your vcores.

Im still getting used to my rampage 2 extreme board so i have not had time to fool with it b/c of school. This summer im gonna oc it to 3.4 i think though.
