Our second week of Boot Camp is about to get underway. This is the official rules and sign-up thread for week two (1/26). Boot Camp will be held every MONDAY at 9PM Central/10PM EDT on the RTV server (72.233.91.37:27016)
The password will only be given here, and only those on the sign up list will be allowed to attend.
Important: Please read and understand all rules before signing up. Boot Camp is very different than most events, as it requires players to sign-up every week in order to attend the event. IF YOU DO NOT SIGN UP HERE, YOU WILL NOT BE ATTENDING THE EVENT.
We have had people sign up and not show up. If you do this, the first time you will be barred from signing up from boot camp for the next 3 weeks (we will take attendance at the event). Do it again, and you will not be invited to attend boot camp for 6 months.
If you edit your sign up post here before the event start time and indicate you cannot attend, you will face no penalty
This is a course in which topics are presented by the INS Division appointed drill instructors. Monday's D.I. will be ScSwat. All content will be given online while in a relaxed yet attentive game server environment. Although this is not a pass or fail course it will be required that each player attend on time and with an attitude which is compatible with the learning environment.
By signing up for Insurgency Boot Camp, you acknowledge and understand the following rules:
1. As soon as you spawn, join the team you are asked to. Everyone except the Drill Instructor and Leadership will be muted. if you have a question, type it when asked. Throw down all weapons as soon as you spawn by hitting the "h" key until you are asked to do otherwise
2. Follow all D.I. Instructions. The D.I is the leader of Boot Camp and has absolute authority in keeping the training session running smoothly. If you are being disruptive, the D.I. will not hesitate to have you dealt with.
3. Do not try to disrupt the server by killing members of the other team, throwing grenades, flashing your flashlight, or any other activity unless specifically asked to do so.
4. Make sure you keep an open mind and have fun. This course is designed to improve players at all skill levels.
Objectives for this week (D.I may add more at their discretion):
1. Introduction to Weapons: Roles and Operation.
2. Squad Composition & Basic Functionality.
Sign up by replying to this thread and acknowledging that you have read and fully understand the rules of INS Boot Camp.
For week 1, we are only going to make 14 slots available. If demand is high, we may increase up to 17 slots available on a weekly basis, depending on staffing needs.
