Beta 2 is undoubtedly better, however there are still large balance flaws, as well as a few exploits.

I think B2 wins, so can we take A5 off of the rotation thingy?
I feel like the different spawn locations of B2 makes the map slightly better balanced. I also have noticed that B2 runs at a higher fps for some reason, but I do miss the invisible stairs 
Update: After playing B2 for a long time the new spawn locations can be frustrating, especially if you are on red and Blue caps the 2nd point (forcing you to spawn all the way back at the final point). It seems that the 3rd point is rarely defended due to this "imbalance". It is possible to get around this by using teleporters, but I've only ever seen it done once (tonight actually-and we didn't actually stop them there, but time almost ran out-this was achieved by using teleporters and holding the small room between the 2nd and 3rd point that the cart goes through). Red has more of an opportunity to defend the 2nd point due to the distance Blue must run from their original spawn. It would be more interesting if they would push Red's spawn up to just past the bridge after Blue caps the 2nd point.
Regarding frame rates-I noticed that the higher frame rate I was experiencing had to do with the server being less populated. It seems that regardless of my graphics settings the frame rates slow down into the 20's on occasion (which is kind of ridiculous for 2x 8800GT SLI). Regardless, it's still my favorite map, and tonight it's been nice and full.
