hey guys,
i wanna learn how to use the rocket well
i dont really get it
it seems really weak and you have to hit them right in the face to kill them or something

any rocketeers out there?

Don't aim for the face, you'll miss most of the time, unless they're standing still completely. You need to aim for their feet, right on front of their feet so you get them to just go straight up in the air and kill them with one shot. Also, be quick about your shots especially if your slowly going around corners to try and get mg's and snipers. Once you release the rocket you can quickly scamper aside. Also, it takes more time to release a rocket than a regular bullet, so, release a couple feet ahead of the oncoming target, so it is right there when they are.

Also, the rocket falls towards the floor as it flies, keep that in mind. I myself hate the rocket and only use it when playing "9" lol.

Well rubberbandman, since you think I'm a noob, than this advice won't really matter to you. Any body shot will do and if you're lucky, you can land a rocket near some injured players and kill them all at once. When aiming, don't do what you do in sniping. Aim up a little bit (how much depends on the distance, I'm sure someone of your skill can figure that out...) and you will usually hit where you want to. In close quarters, take out your secondary because I think the m1 carbine is much better than the Garand and the c96 is very good for shot distance fighting. It's like the world's first uzi...
If you get over yourself for a minute and listen, this might help you. I've used this class for a long time and have gotten quit good at it. If you want something more in-depth ask Brewmaster or his son (Son of Brewmaster) I ALWAYS see them using the rocket class and therefore they are very skilled with it.

Its simply a matter of having fun and using the weapon alot. I didnt like it at first, then when trying to get the rocket acheivement I learned to love the rocket! Its a blast -I wish the servers would allow 2

There are very few people I hate that play rocket class. Brewmaster is one of them!

Its a good weapon if you know how to use it. Also is very useful when camping over the sewer ladders. I have a tough time killing them when trying to get up them!

-Don't try to be spot-on accurate. The Panzerfaust is a BLAST AREA weapon. Keep that in mind when you take your shot. Aim for the spot closest where you want that soldier to die, squeeze and pray.

-The rocket flies on a ballistic trajectory. In english: It falls in flight. Aim higher than where you want it to go.

-Aim for their feet if someone is trying to run up on you. Odds are you'll take damage or get nuked too, but at least you rob your enemy of the chance to do it himself.

-That c96 is a *FIERCE* weapon at close range. USE IT!!!

what do i do if theyre behind one of the barricades, it seems like it doesnt injured them at all unless its a headshot, which is pretty darn hard

always ask for ammo, no matter what.

if you're far off and the target is in a window, aim for the roofline.

if the distance is half that, aim for the halfway mark or your rocket will disappointingly go behind him.

if you want to teleport to spawn area, aim at you shoes.

When someone is behind a sandbag barrier, try to hit objects such as crates/barrels that are beside your target. The splash damage will one shot them if they're standing right beside clutter.

The rocket is very powerful in alleyways as well. I'll either aim for the feet or a wall.

Biggest rocket tip: don't try to go toe-to-toe with a sniper who knows you're there. You can't release fast enough unless you're lag rubberbanding.

-Remember! Just because you have no rockets, doesn't mean you're out of the fight or defenseless. The C96/M1 Carbine are your friends.

easy way to get epic points.. run around shooting people and if your about to die shoot right at your feet and kill yourself. HLX doesn't count it as a death and just shoot peoples feet, or right beside or behind them.

if they are on a sandbag next to wall hit the wall. just keep working on it you will get better to more you use it. i hated it but now its the weapon i always want to use.

-Last rocket? No ammo around? Go for broke. Try for that last, nigh-impossible shot. Whats the worst that can happen...?

Learn the map, is the biggest tip. If you don't know the map with rocket, you will fail pretty badly. Camping the right spot, and knowing the routes is how you pick up a lot of kills.

Agree... this is probably the most important advice. Knowing where other people camp, where snipers usually are, high traffic areas are the key to rocket man's success. For example on flash, sending a rocket into the hole-in-wall will get you a kill 4 times out of 10... clearing out sniper houses, cafe... I love holding second story with a Panzershreck as an axis. And yeah, secondary weapons are also awesome for close quarters combat.
