Blackmesa - Lag

I just wanted to make a mini-report on a potential lag issue on Blackmesa. Earlier today (~11:30amEST) around 5 people (including myself) were getting pretty bad lag spikes on the server, but they were brief and subsided rather quickly.

I didn"t notice any lag from the last time i've played but I crashed a couple of times for no apparent reasons.

Didnt it say in the news that is was an exploit that some people were using? They also said they fixed it with a new box and plugin.

i was one of them, random spikes for a few seconds ever few mins. hopefully that will be fixed with the new upgrades

ya i experienced this yesterday aswell. Only early on though, the rest of the day was fine.

Darth, yes. That is why I made this post was because this was all after the meeting. BTW it is not a big deal for me and does not keep me from playing on the server I just thought some people would like to know this type of information.

Yea, the server randomly pauses for a second or two and, I find myself in a sticky spot as where i shot the person has vanished behind me.

I thought I just had vid card lag when it paused for a sec.
