I know that soldier class is one of the easiest classes out there, I mean just point and shoot right...anyways, what I used to find difficult was once you pop someone up in the air with a rocket, trying to hit them in mid air was a challenge...So I came across a map to help out with these situations and my mid air attacks with the rocket launcher has improved alot. For those interested I am posting a link where to download the map. Once you download the map to ur desktop, put it in the download list folder...if you need further instructions let me know and I'll write them. If you already have it or are really good as a soldier then this is not for you, so anyone interested here you go. you can play the vid it has so you can see if you want it before you download it...hope you guys enjoy it.

Forgot to post that the map can be used to help demoman as well for mid air attacks.

Fun map, I use this when some servers are full and I'm bored. It's actually not that tricky, once you get the hang of it. It's nice to practice aim, though with the two different mice I'm using, my aim gets messed up quite often (one weighs twice as much as the other). There's also a "hidden" location on the yellow/black striped platform, good for practicing distance rocket/sticky jumps.

I don't get why people say soldiers are supposed to be easy haha
I think it's awkward w/the speed of the rocket- I'd actually say soldier is one of the toughest, it's cool seeing really good soldiers

I downloaded that map a little while ago and for some reason the bots don't spawn for me. Looks like it would be great to try out but it won't let me. = (

When you are in the place where you create the server, click on top of the box where it there are 2 words, one says map or something and cant remember what the other says, but it lets you configure the time and the amount of players, i pick 25 players and thats how i get all the bots...hope this helps.

There are other maps on that website specifically for soldier, they force you to learn how to rocket jump...heres this vid, the map for this one is called Jump_pagoda...it can be found on the same link as the first map, just type in the name of the map on the website search engine. Heres the vid guys, best watched in HQ, for those that dont know how to get High Quality, at the bottom of the vid there is an arrow, click play first then place cursor on the arrow and click on HQ. Enjoy the vid guys.

wow! After watching that video I'm definitely downloading this map. I've got basic rocket jumping and crouch rocket jumping down, but I've never spent time trying the wall jumps.
