There was an old pre-nerf where the scout could bat the Demomans stickybombs as well. Sadly that doesn't exist anymore.

The thing is, the grenade has to bounce. Otherwise the heavy will just get annihilated when it pops in his face. And no, the heavy can swing nearly as fast as they can be popped. It's just an advanced tactic.
