I haven't seen any sort of release date so far.

It sounds like you may be able to activate the game on Steam if you own a retail copy, although that hasn't come just yet. It is a good game, but it does need this patch to improve the interface.

If you have it, you should definitely install it. The gameplay is very solid, and you will love the hoverboard. :)

This makes me glad I gave into temptation and bought UT3 during the holiday sale. They had been hinting around at an expansion previous to that, but this is much better than I could've expected. Hopefully this will fix a lot of the problems that have made it so UT3 hasn't drawn a large audience. Judging from the patch notes, it'll fix a large portion of my gripes.

uh oh... I wont see my brother for a long time if these come out.

yay i got the game for like 20 bucks along with the unreal anthology for free which was a 10 dollar value at the time. even though I already have 2k4. Man I am going to install it tonight just to freshen up in all the versions i have. form the original to the most recent! I never got bored of UT EVER!

I used to be a hardcore UT player - had UT99/2k4/3 before I got CSS/DoD/HL2 pack and ditched it. Its a great game but does not have many players. Maybe these will bring the players and I will play again :)

Cool. I'm glad I bought the unreal pack over Christmas. I haven't played much of UT3 yet, only some singleplayer--there just don't seem to be very many servers. I do feel like it got kind of unfair reviews, as the game itself plays great.

Update Unreal Tournament 3 With Steamworks
In preparation for the massive update coming for Unreal Tournament 3, those who own a retail copy may now register it with Steam, free of charge.

The latest installment in the legendary online action series from Epic will be updated automatically via Steam and introduce support for Steamworks Achievements (with over 50 Achievements), plus a host of new features and enhancements in AI, Server Browsing, Demo Recording, Mod Support, and more.

To register your retail copy on Steam, simply click the main menu option 'Games' and select 'Activate a product on Steam' from within the Steam client.

If anyone is interested, GoGamer.com has UT3 for $9.90 as part of their 48hr Madness sale. You'll still have to pay shipping, but it's still cheaper than the $20 you'd have to pay on Steam.

Its not lettin me add my key I have collectors edition maybe thats why, I contacted the worst support in history (steam) tho

Lots of details on the Titan Pack from IGN:

This free-to-download expansion brings a lot of new stuff to the game -- 19 maps, two new game types, and plenty of new toys to play with across the entire Unreal arsenal

Once you get past the pure numerical additions, the most obvious addition to the series is the new Titan. As you play through the game, killing enemies, completing goals and generally avoiding damage, you'll build up your Titan meter. Once it fills up, you can instantly mutate into a 15' tall Titan. The Titan has massive health, a decent shield belt and can fire homing rockets. Oh, and he can also pound the ground to knockback any enemies that get too close. In short, the Titan is a real game changer. But since both sides are able to obtain Titans fairly easily, it's not unusual to see at least a couple of them squaring off in any game. What is rare is seeing a Titan stay alive long enough to access the Behemoth mutation. This doubles the already ridiculous size of the Titan, but thankfully only lasts for half-a-minute.

In Greed, players collect skulls dropped by defeated enemies. If you're killed, you not only drop your skull, but also all the skulls of the other players you happen to have killed. To keep things from getting totally crazy, if a player has multiple skulls, they'll drop five as a single gold skull and ten as a single red skull. The object is to take your skulls and turn them in on a platform inside your enemy's base. Once that's done, you score points for each skull you turned in and then instantly teleport back to your base to start all over again.

Lots more at the link! I'm excited!

Also see BeyondUnreal's "UT3 Titan Pack Reveal"
The first, and probably most important, reveal this week was that the Titan Pack will be free, gratis, no cost. This was certainly the question lingering on everyone's mind after the hint about the pack was dropped late last year. Surely the second most important piece of information is that the pack is due for release on March 5th, 2009. I know, I know, two weeks!
