I'm most excited about the "last, Broken Steel, will allow players to continue within the game once the main story is finished". Can't wait for that, as I have been putting off finishing the main quest :D

I'll have to play with this when I get home to figure out how much it costs. What does 800 points on games for windows live equate to? I think it's roughly $12

800 points = about 10 bucks, and I have to say, I got operation anchorage last night, totally worth it. Its a nice break from the normal exploring and doing side quests. It is pretty much pure combat with a few speech checks and hacking/lockpicking here and there, it didnt last more than three hours but it was just right, and besides all the cool gear I got after finishing up (like a guass rifle and stealth suit) I can always go back and play through it again if I feel like some pure combat. I cant wait for more downloadable content.

Its good but it was short for me, but the new items are freakin awesome.

Unfortunately, I think you're going to have to wait a little longer than that. Everything I've read says "mid-February". I imagine they'll want some time to be able to promote it first.

I'm thinking about getting it sometime. I've not finished Fallout 3 yet though.
