Sniper School!

Hello everyone, for some time I've been wanting to run some sort of sniper school for TF2 players who are interested in increasing their skill or just learning the basics.

I've been thinking about running a few individual classes, and maybe some group sessions for anyone that's interested in expanding their playable classes. Everything will be hosted on my personal server where everyone can get some hands on experience.

The school will run through the basics of sniping such as target selection and playing styles, and culminate in some advanced techniques such as snap shots and properly faking.

I've included a poll to see what times you guys are available to take part in the classes. Let me know if you guys think this is a good idea and are interested in taking part!

Sorry, forgot to mention what days this can be held on. Generally I'm aiming for this Saturday, but that might change with the Cicatriz vs. Jehuty thing going on. Sunday might also be a mess because of the Super Bowl, but we'll see how it goes.

Alright well what I'm seeing from the poll so far looks like everyone is generally split between 3 times: before 5PM, 7-8PM, and then sometime after 9PM.

So I think it would be great to run 2 classes over the weekend:

• Jan 31st, 9PM CST
• Feb 7th, 7PM CST

You're welcome to attend whichever one works best for you, or you can attend both if you like.

We'll meet on ventrilo about 30mins before each session, in either one of the General Room channels or a gaming channel.

With the whole superbowl event going on tomorrow, the second class is being rescheduled for Saturday, Feb 7th still at 7PM CST.

I would certainley as long as I can reach it at a good GMT time. 6pm - 9pm is best for me. Im a pretty awsome sniper if I say so myself but there are alot better out there so there must be something im missing xD

The majority of people are choosing an after 9PM class.. Which is about 2 hours after the start of your grudge match. We'll have plenty of time!

Bear in mind this is a school for players of all skill levels, all sorts of sniping will be covered, including corner sniping and it's uses.

Only reason I dislike corner snipers is because they kill me more than I can kill them!

i would love to atend but that is in the break of dawn here in germany, so if we could get it worked out i would like to do a indiv. class or mabey a little 2-3 man group, cuz i know some of my friends like HitmanX and Aarandorf would love to atend this and work on their sniping skills. Love this idea and i think this could go places as from my point of view sniper is a pretty darn hard class to play and alot of people would love some advice, me as a person who trained himself and made his own tactics would love to see what kind of actual tactics are out there to be learned.
