mic problems

i got a mic and i started using it but someone said it was all buzzy but they could here my
should i get a new mic?
will any server ban cause of my mic buzzing?

Did you soundcard (or mobo) come w/ drivers for the audio devices? If so, do you have them installed, and have you run the calibration for the Mic?

I had this problem, and I was really quiet, I dug around a bit, found the mentioned drivers, ran a calibration and boom, works great now!

maybe its where your mic placement is or its something with the mic i would go into your sound manager and look at your settings for the mic

It can be your mic or it can be as suggested your sound card. I had a headset that made me really quite i thought it was my sound card but turned out it was the headset.

But before you go out and buy a new mic or headset do what was suggested above and if all fails you might want to get a new mic.
