Well my mom and dad are getting 8k Because of the income tax
And well i plan on getting new stuff and a rocking PC :D

Yeah sorry no PCI I will get new mobo and Cpu on birthday so doesn't matter :D

And for an extra 15 bucks you can get the AAKS 2 platter 640GB. I reads and writes about 20 MBps faster than that 500GB model and it has a little bit faster seek time. Yes, I know it's a slippery slope(it's only 15 bucks).

Oh, just out of curiosity, what power supply do you have?
 
Yeah makes sure when you make a major upgrade to your computer you find the best deals, especially if you can spend a little more to get a lot more raw power.
 
don't buy an AGP graphics card if your going to be upgrading
wait till u get your new motherboard and buy a 4850 pci-express
 
I would go with an Nvidia graphics card ATI has always been trouble for me, also go with pci express

you need a sata 2 cable,not sata 1.
Did you see if you need a molex to sata ?95% of power supplies all ready have a sata power on them.
Ati does not support agp cards anymore,meaning they dont make drivers for them,havent in 2 years.I had that card last year and couldnt find drivers for them,they said use omega drivers but hes gone and hasent made a driver in over a year.they have hotfix drivers made by them that suk. and ya might wanna read the very first review on that card,thats why I returned the card.

2 things here.
1 I reccomend getting a full size board not a micro,with 2 more ram slot.
2 the ram if you look at reviews you have to adjust your bios setting to get it to run right.
I am planing on getting that chip next myself.
Decent card.

Theres 2 things wrong with this. First is that nvidia doesnt make any new agp cards anymore. Second, its hard to go pci-e when you dont have a pci-e slot.

If you can look for an aftermarket cpu cooler and get some arctic silver 5 thermalpaste. Even if you dont overclock it, the proc will be much much cooler.

Well i got all down now :)

I'm going with a ATI Radeon HD 4670

So i will be fine and it's just right the highest i could go is 350 And it's a Grand Total:$343.18with tax and shipping :)
