Alright, I run C:SS perfect. No lag anything. I run TF2 and expect the same performence. Well that doesn't happen. I lag constently. I've tried all the noob checking and lowering some settings but I doubt I lowerd all the correct ones. So I'm curious, what settings should I lower? Is there any other way to decrease the lag? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

I also lag frequently, for 2 main reasons.
1. I'm running on Vista wirelessly, which has known issues where the client will go searching for networks every 60 seconds, with no way to stop it (Vista Anti-Lag didn't work). Stupid.
2. I have a beefy laptop, but the graphics card isn't terribly great, so I drop some frames now and then.
I think some people also have problems with the usual offenders such as virus scan, search indexers, and other background processes.
