heres some more nostalgia for ya. there was footage of early doom that was recently uploaded into vimeo from back in 93. all i gotta say is look @ all the old skool technology that they had. i found this info from an email sent to me from Game Informer. the title of the article: a look at id software, 16 years ago. anyways here the link: http://rome.ro/2009/04/visit-to-id-software-1993.html
