no, most obvious is to shoot him, if he gets too close to you then you can kill your self, but try to take him out first, and if you can't, take as much HP as you can.

Funny, because earlier today I ran out of ammo for both my weapons and the guy I was fighting was reloading... I charged at him with a knife, and he ran away while shooting me. I almost had him though
