Need Help..DoD:S Broken

Ok. Today I tried to play DoD:S. But, after it said, "Preparing To Launch Day Of Defeat: Source", an error pops up that says:

"SteamStartup() failed: SteamStartup(0xf,0x0012E59C) failed with error 1: failed to take master pipe connection lock"

Please help. I want to play again.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling remove it and then put it back on this should fix it sounds like a corrupt file to me.

Tried reinstalling....didn't work. Tried deleting the entire DoD:s Folder...didn't work.....I don't want to go to steam....they won't help.

have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling steam? that seems to fix some stuff

if non of these help try serching online for problems like this just google in what u have type and u should find something

uninstalling and installing again usually works..if not..i cant help you beyond that
