DSL modem keeps disconnecting

Check router settings. Should be an option for "Keep connection alive". What are you doing when it disconnects? I need more information before I can help you.

Call your DSL company and have them run some line checks. It may be an issue on their end or your modem may have bitten the dust.

If the modem has died and you lease it from them, then you'll get a new one. If you bought it out of pocket then you'll have to buy a replacement.

There are a bunch of things you should try, the first being call tech support. It's in their best interest to keep you as a customer.

Could be a static build up in the line. Call your dsl provider and see what they can do for you. If it is a static build up it could take a few hours to build up till the point that it blocks the signal and the it will naturally discharge over time allowing a connect to reoccur. Had that problem with my cable line at my old place.
