I'm sitting here reading the forums enjoying a very tall cold beer (Stone IPA to be exact). My "boss" is my best friend and I'm getting paid right now. :D

Seriously, I do work though. It's just when you work at home you get these little perks. Anyone else have this set up?

I do not but its always good to love what you do. Enjoy it and dont take it forgranted because it could disapear! Enjoy your beer :)
 
Yeah, I have a web design/programming company and work when I feel like it.
Love being able to play games anytime I want XD
 
Mind telling me how? Seems I cant find a job is this crappy town. If I do its minimum wage with part time.
 
I go to school for Computer Animation. I get to sit in front of a computer (whether at home or in the labs) and make cartoons all day. :) In all honesty though, it's probably more time consuming than if I went to school for something normal lol
 
I work based out of my house as well. I do have to make trips to offices and homes to do stuff along with runs tech shops for parts. Honestly, I hate it. Dealing with whiney customers and cheap ones that don't want to pay what they owe just sucks. Then again, working on stuff while I'm watching a movie or messing around in the innerwebs like I am now does help alleviate some of the frustrations.

I have set a few rules for myself though. No games before 3 pm. No work after 7 pm unless it's completely necessary.
 
I work in a group home for the mentally challenged and when i leave work I get this satisfaction of knowing i just did my best to make someone elses life more enjoyable.
 
Yeah, one of the downsides, for sure, is that in some ways my job never ends. When I used to work out of an office my job "ended" when I left. Here, it's always there... :\

I'm still in hel *cough* sorry middle school so I have to wake up at 7 and sit around for 8 hours while kids and teachers annoy my ear drums. It's such a nice relief when I can come home and shoot a few people, it really takes my frustrations out :). So I can't exactly game whenever I want :( and I'm mostly tired so I don't game too much during the week. But on the weekend I game all I can.

So in short, I don't have that luxury.
 
i wish i could get a job. but the government decided it would be bad for me to work and learn valuable skills at 15 :/

I know what you mean.

Wake up 6:00, come back at 3:40. 1.5 Hours of commuting to and from school on 2 buses :)
 
I work in a dungeon (its actually a closed secure area... with no windows). I stare a monitor for 10 hours a day 4 days a week and trace the ground in 3d to make terrain maps. Its extremely boring and extremely unrewarding.

I think its safe to say that I hate my job and if it wasnt for the good pay and the good benefits, and my lack of a degree, I would not be doing it.
