For all who play the blackmesa server, this just happened to me an hour ago randomly in game. I posted all the screen shots I took in my album here http://www.edgegamers.org/forums/album.php?albumid=96 so if you are interested in seeing some crazy stuff go check it out.

*UPDATE* Just so you all know, this is a rare event for me. Only has happened once in Tf2 and that was Blackmesa and twice in DoD and those are the pictures you all saw. So don't think this is what I always see. Just a very rare event.

and the writing on the walls? well i got closer and it looks just like lines and lines of random codes, but without numbers

That is definitely strange.

The textures are combinations of names on the servers.

You definitely have some corrupted textures, but unless someone else saw it too, it's all on your end. Either the game data was corrupted, or your video card is either dying or the image data is corrupted.

That only happens to me when I'm on a critrocketjumping rampage and suddenly gain the "you can dodge bullets" powerup. Everything goes matrix code and I move about twice as fast as the scout.

It appears as it is a combination of all of the names on the server, as madpistol suggested, or it is the contents of your console appearing on the walls.

But what we have here, is the game script reading the wrong location for the textures. I don't know how or why it started looking and grabbing such random things but I think it's some for of temporary memory loss on your side.

And this is the sort of thing that lurks in my nightmares. It's like Alice in Wonderland on drugs...well different kinds of drugs!

haha well when this happened i didnt just stop playing, I just left it like that for about 20 minutes before I restarted the game and all was ok then
