this is like a remake of 1942, but on the FrostBite engine (aka Bad company's engine.) but sadly, its coming out next year sometime and i'll be in Kwait by then. But i'll be fighting you guys afterwords

It's been a while since I've played BF1942. The graphics update looks pretty good. Have to see it when the games rolls out!

When it comes to the 1943 version, I have mixed feelings. But right now, im eagerly anticipating the arrival of Heroes over Europe (I have Heroes of the Pacific). I will admit that EA is doing a good job of making 1943 as realistic as possible (w/ the trees getting knocked down), but for some reason im afraid that they will leave out good stuff, making 1943 not worth getting.

My Devotion to the Battlefield franchise requires me to buy this game... i have no choice. I logged about 200,000 hours in BFV it was my favorite game of all time.

FrostBite is damn good engine(Destructible environments!). Judging by DICE's track record im guessin this will be a good game.

ummm, 200,000 hours is equal to almost 23 years... that means you would have to have been playing that literally nonstop since 1986.....

but yea, should be out soon enough for you, hope you enjoy the new game. still never could get into the battlefield series.

Word is Bad Company will be released for the PC, or at least maybe the next BFBC (2?).

Ok. I LOVE the Battlefield series. I've never played Bad Company, but I've bought every game and it's expansions within the week they were released if not day of. I love BF1942. 1943 however.....

Here's the problem.

Up to 24 players online and only 3 announced maps that are just rehashed from ' 42. DUDE. Dude. I'm not playing Wake 12v12. Dude.

those looked like PS2 graphics... Then again every WW2 game looks bad on the trailer... i dont know why but they do.
