How do I find out if my laptop can run DoD:S? I don't want to move my gaming pc to school with me if I can help it.

how about your operating system, 32 or 64 bit?, is your cpu single, dual, or quad core? and your hard drive speed, 5400 or 7200rpm?

alright all the specs look good with two exceptions.

1.your cpu is a little slow. 2.66 would be sufficient but 2.0 is rly not quite enough to be able to play without video chop.

2.i guess your graphics card is onboard, meaning its not really gonna work for games. and from what ive read its a little old as well, there are articles about that card from 2005-2006.

So im thinking no on the question. I doubt your video card will handle any of the games that came out in 2008 (i.e. cod5, l4d, etc.). I would just lug around the desktop. or buy a new laptop.

I live 2 hours and 30 minutes from school and have a very low end laptop and a high end gaming desktop. I always bring my desktop to school. It is well worth it since my laptop can't really play any games. However, the only time I bring the desktop home is for Christmas break (lasts 5 weeks) and summer time (lasts 3 months). I have three other breaks which are Fall Break, Thanksgiving break, and Spring break in which I just bring home the laptop and deal with the fact that I can't game for a little while.

By the way, do you live in a dorm or an off campus apartment/house?

I live in an apartment but I don't have any room for a desktop... I'm going home this weekend so I'll consider bringing the computer back with me
