Huge bf fan here too.. from BF1942, Road to Rome, Secret Weapons, BFV, BF2, Special Forces BF2142.. I have just recently spun up BFV... Operation Hastings!!!!!...... Its a nice change from TF2.

I signed up for the beta a few months ago, and I finally got my key early this morning for what I'm assuming is the second beta. I'm downloading the game now, I can't wait to play.

I am a big battlefield fan since 1942. I miss bf2 but alas vista 64 bit not supported. I loved bad company and i am glad to hear the new one is coming out on PC. I was interested in Heroes not only because it is free but if you want better items you have to pay. I think that is cool because there is a lot of options you can choose from and get if you want to pay for it. That way no one will cry about another players advantage for cheating in ranking to get items. They have to pay to get them. So there is no excuse to cry about something you can get as well.

Although Vista 64-bit isn't supported, you should still be able to play BF2 on it. I was running BF2 on Vista 64-bit for a long while. You need to run it as an Administrator, but otherwise my BF2 was running fine.

PS - I hate cartoon games, way to ruin the BF franchise EA, I would expect no less from you though.
