Sound Problems

ok soo this has been happening for like a month in any game. it will loop the last sound played like super fast for about 30 seconds to a minute then start working perfectly fine. then just completely die not work at all for anything .

then after restarting my computer it will work perfectly fine lol any ideas?

Re-install your sound drivers? Only thing I can think of right now.

went out and bought a soundcard

as empty said, your best bet would be to update your sound drivers, but if a new soundcard fixed it, well done ;p

Yes, I agree with the others. If the sound card fixed the problem, it was likely an issue with the onboard sound. Probably the drivers.
