Here are some useful binds for the normal player.

First of all, your going to need to enable developer console. Go to the DoD:S starting screen and click options, controls, advanced, and then check the :Enable Developer Console" box.

Press the "`" key to open console ingame/on start menu.

For example...

Medic Bind

Open console and type:

bind (insert key you want bind here) "say !medic

To say something into chat
, type something like this into console:

bind (insert key you want to bind here) "say (insert text here)

The one problem with chat binds is that it is easy to spam accidentally, therefor limit yourself to how often you use it. :)

Hope this helped a few of you... feel free to post questions!

iYoda suggests...

Let me remind you, if you call for medic on public chat the enemy understands you are weak. use this bind instead: bind key "say_team !medic"
Another useful bind is this:
bind key "say_team Need assistance at %l ! I have %h and I my class is %c"
l=location
h=health
c=class

Please leave your suggestions! (Nice ones so far!)

Yes, this is really useful. Its really annoying when you type in !medic wrong under fire.

And isn't there supposed to be an end quote?

bind c "say !medic"

I have two binds..

J is "It's a rainbow of PAIN!", for everytime I get a few good kills.. and K is my !medic

This is very useful for asking assistance with accuracy. I often use this command when i am too heavy underfire to tell my team. If you guys need any help with binds, you can either PM me or post here. :-)

You yell "medic!" anyways, but I guess if you get hit in the leg with a sniper from a ways off, they probably couldnt hear you.

Config File

Isn't there a way you can save these to a config file so you don't have to enter them every time?

Some binds I use.

bind q "say No Scope" (Because it takes time to type it out after every one)
bind f "!medic"
bind c "say_team Need assistance at %l"

I need one that says "Hurrrrrr spam nades at enemy MG!"

heh.
