Yes i made another post in the general section but it looks like most CSS players don't really look there so pardon me for reposting.

I just wanted to stop by and introduce myself.
I Go by a few names, usually Old Man but for fun i will change to match my spray of Huck Hound or Bill Nye da science guy, something fun like that.

Last night i had a great time till about 4am with Bob the hammerhead, tenGHZ, beth, jamune and a few others in office.

As i stated before, I've been gaming a long time, since 1976-77 something like that, when I got my first gaming system, Pong! After that I had the Atari 2600, Atari 7800, Sega genisis and a few others systems. I recently pulled out the Atari 7800 and the Genisis, yeah, i got bored pretty quickly but what memories.

how old am I? Beth says that I'm old enough to be her grandfather! thanks Beth! When I told the guys that I am half way to 94 I believe it was tenGHZ who said "ah, you are 46!" lol. I am a widower, my wife of 18 years past away christmas eve '07. I have 2 kids 18 yrs girl and 16 yrs old boy. He also likes to play css and with the one computer we share.

well, again, I just wanted to say thanks for the servers, there is usually an admin on to help keep them clean and it is always a good time there. I have several years experience as an admin on our OFPR severs and appreciate the time and effort it takes to keep them clean.

first of all, do you have any binds? weapons buys? mute?
too tired to post the bind for buying weapons, another time but everyone should bind voice_scale 0 and voice_scale 1. That will instanly mute and unmute all, very helpful on an alltalk servers and any server that has as many slots as the office and D2 servers do. between muting all and radar, it's amazing how you will start knowing where the enemy is.
Radar- "where they is, is where they ain't" or "where they isn't is where they are" if all your teamates are guarding long hall and no one is watching back window, you KNOW they will be in paper soon. or if all of your teamates just died at the corner of long hall/side hall, chuck a nade out the doors, youw will probably get a few.

i bound them to F1 and F2

in console type the following;

bind "f1" voice_scale 0
bind "f2" voice_scale 1

f1 will mute and f2 will unmute (and you thought i was listening to your silly stories! lol)

While i appreciate the offer I respectfully decline. I am currently active in a clan that has been around for over 7 years where some of my duties include global moderator of our forums. We recently changed prvoviders to our servers and that was the kiss of death. who knows, we may try to get some servers up and running again but right now we haven't got any.

I do in fact enjoy your servers and most of the people who play there and plan on sticking around for a while. It's actually fun playing on servers where you aren't the admin! Except of course when some knucklehead is in there and there are none around, but that has only happened a few times.

While I have a lot of respect for Old Man, I do have to insert myself that it was not me that was terrible at math, it was indeed Carnage. haha

I like to tease my buddy Carnage about his being Asian and terrible at math. He's the stereotype killer! haha

I like playing with you Old Man, you're always helpful/respectful when I've seen you. Thanks for playing on our servers. Keep coming back even if your clan does get their own servers again in the future...
