More dod events

um boster use to handle the events for dod not sure if he passed on the torch or what

i believe either anni or angreifen handle them nowadays, but they are making an attempt to schedule new events. There are simply less regular people on the dod:s servers and therefore harder to schedule new events past the ones we already have. A lot of them do not fit the schedules of the eGO members needed to keep the events alive
Scrimming a DoD clan like GTFO would be nice. They are a immature, multi-branch clan with a taste of rudeness to the next level. Scrimming against them will prove maturity wins in any situation. I banned myself from even looking at the servers' names.
Lets scrim, and certantly (using tactics and mature voice communication) win.

hey this is a great idea to let you all know we host Kalt Assult every sunday night, assult and support only. its fast moving and lots of fun. the coolest part is that all talk is on. it is hard to get into but it is a blast hope to see you all in there.
The funny part is, is that we had a melee Monday going on for a while. I went to one and not a lot of people showed, I am guilty of being absent to these on many occasions. It wasn't as advertised as most but still. And i believe Angreifen handles the events. Its not just that simple to say "lets to events, those guys to them." It has to be planned, people have to show up. If nobody shows then we've shut down a popular server for what, 5-10 people. It affects server popularity directly if we don't get good numbers at them. If we don't get good numbers, then the events stop. And iYoda, i don't think that will ever happen, sorry bud.
When we had houses the H/H scrims got maxed out quite often.
I love attending scrims and try to make them all even if its just for half the time.
eGO invasion night?
We all tag a server from abroad that is usually 50% full, and just fill it for an hour with our own guys. It'll get our name some exposure, and introduce non-eGO maps, like Jagd and Colmar.
Only problem being their rules vs. ours of swearing and whatnot, so our younger members might be advised to stay home?

thats a road trip we have had some in the past. they are cool.
I dont know about you guys but the same maps day in and day out get old after a while. Sometimes I simply crave more competition, and different maps.
My 1 big idea! Server with rotating maps, maybe even throw some orange arena in there... Anzio, colmar, jagd, palermo, customs.. you name it

After listening to the conversations in game it is obvious a lot of members sign up then rarely visit the forums so they don't know what is going on, we should try and change that attitude and get more involved.
Although I would not be much use in a scrim it's a good idea to get members together. I managed the other Sunday to play in the assault only and it was very enjoyable.

how about a weekly event? Saturday Scrambles, we take all the official DOD maps (i guess a few custom ones) and put their names in a hat. the host/hostess picks the name out of the hat and we play that map! i know theres a program that does that too

well guys tell all new members to get VENT adn to visit the edgegamers website regulary but sometimes the site is confusing with 5 divisions and all so tell them how to navigate the site to find out more about where they should go to view DOD DIVISION NEWS EVENTS ECT
