These are very helpful, thanks for posting.

BTW, I've chalked it up to Lag or my stupid Vista OS but for some oddball reason, binds sometimes require pressing the bind key two or three times to get it to work properly for me. I don't have this issue on my dedicated XP gaming rig but on my Vista laptop, multiple keypresses for BINDS only is the norm. Very odd. Anyone else have this issue?

Its either your keyboard is self thats troubling, or steam/your games are slow sending the key to the bind cfg file (which i currently dont remember the name) maybe because you dont have enough ram/cpu to process the data quick enough. The game takes up a chunk of your ram+cpu, so "multitasking" (binds are in matter of fact a whole new process) is harded and the game might find the file a tad bit after you press the button because its slow on the search throw the cfg.

btw i just thought of this, its somewhat a possiblty.

Every single key in my numpad (with the exception of Num Lock) have been binded to a command. In CS:S, my F5-F8 is also full.

If you didn't bind "x" which is available by default, you can use that instead of F1.
You can do multiple actions with one bind.

bind "x" "say !medic;voice_backup;signal_backup"
